We wanted a UTV dome light that functioned like the dome lights in our trucks (on when you open your door to get in / out). And we wanted a dome light that fully illuminated the cab.
WHAT IT DOES
The RAVEK Automatic Dome Light includes two magnetic sensors that send a signal to the Apex Dome Light to turn on/off when the door opens/closes. The kit includes a rocker switch with three modes:
Up: Light Always On
Neutral: Light On When Door Open
Off: Light Always Off
The RAVEK Automatic Dome Light works even without the key in the ignition, allowing you to see the cab of your UTV when loading and unloading. The RAVEK Automatic Dome Light will not “trickle draw” from battery when not in use.

Thanks to the new video on the installation, everything went pretty smoothly. My only problem is ME! I’m old and too damn anal about neatness and doing it right. If I was to do another one it wouldn’t take me long at all. Nice to have the dome light come on without having to turn the key on.

This is probably the coolest upgrade I've got on my defender. If only can am could actually make a dome light that works when you open the door, or when the vehicle is off lol. I had rewired mine but this is way better. Thank you!
